Below you will find some brainstorm boxes. Look at each high-risk situation and then type in some ways you can face that situation without smoking. After you have done so press 'Completed' and then go on to the next.

When you have completed them all, choose some (perhaps those that might be the most difficult situations to overcome) to write down and help you do the things that will help you prevent smoking. Put those goals in your calender, electronic organizer, and anywhere else you will look at them and be reminded.

You are at a social gathering with others drinking and smoking.

After a good meal when you would ordinarily light up.

When the pressures at work build and you want to smoke to relieve stress.

When you have that first or favorite cup of coffee.

 

When you are bored and have nothing to do.

Now you get the idea. Make a list of situations that are likely to be risky for you and plan your strategy for not smoking.
