Risks of Being A Couch Potato
 

Getting started on an exercise program can be difficult. However, the risks of not exercising are great.

• High blood pressure
• High blood fat and cholesterol
• Unattractive physique
• High blood sugar
• Being overweight
• Premature aging
• Higher levels of stress, anxiety and depression
• Decreasing bone density/high risk of osteoporosis
• Unhealthy, overweight children
• No stamina

Most of us aren’t born with these problems. They happen to us as we age and don’t take care of our bodies. But they are not inevitable. By taking better care of our bodies we have a much better chance of avoiding an old age with a rocker and an oxygen machine.
