Introduction To Six Sigma

Team Processes

Applying Six Sigma methods to your team may very well require more vigilance than might otherwise be the case. On the two screens that follow are some tip sheets for leadership and membership based on Scholtes approach to teams. They are:

  • Positive roles

In the first screen is a list of common problems encountered by teams and beside each are the types of things that can be done about the problem.

The next screen identifies the positive roles that must be played to ensure that your team is successful. Each role is identified and there is a brief description of each.

The next time you are in your team meetings look for signs of both the problem behavior which must be curbed and the postive patterns by your team members.
