This introduction to Six Sigma provided a broad overview. It might be called Six Sigma from 30,000 feet. It did not dwell on statistics or process control. Those are important tools but they are just tools. What is revolutionary about Six Sigma is that it involves quantum leaps in perfomance improvements and not baby steps. That means all the tools must be learned and used.

There are three keys to understanding Six Sigma from this 30,000 foot point of view:
