You are about to spend about 30 minutes doing a survey of the sources of stress in your working life. Most 'Stress Management' programs that address work-related stress fail. Why? There are a number of reasons. The first is that most are not based on solid research. We have learned a great deal about work stress over the last 20 years and any program likely to succeed must rest on a research foundation. The second is that most use a one-size-fits-all, "cookie cutter" approach. That may help a little, but it is unlikely to have great impact.

To successfully improve your resilience to work stress you must begin by pinpointing the causes. Finally, most programs encourage people to try too may things at one time. They do not help the person focus. This self-guided survey is based on solid research, will help you identify the sources of stress in your life and will give you feedback that will ensure that you focus your efforts.
