Awareness Stage
 

The second stage of personal change is called the Awareness stage. You have decided that change is worth thinking about, and want to learn more about the issues; but have yet to commit to changing. Before you begin to change, you need to know more about how making changes will make your life better.

People in this stage:

During the Awareness stage you seek new information and think carefully about how that information applies to you. You may talk with friends or family and actively listen to their point of view. You gain knowledge and awareness that you can use when you actually begin to implement your plans for change.
