Research and probably
your own observations tell you that good relationships lead to happier,
healthier lives. Even if you are not a natural extrovert, it is possible
to create and enhance how you relate to others by:
- Becoming more aware of how you relate
to others - both good and not so good ways of relating.
- Using that awareness to help design
ways to change.
- Learning how to be mindful and respectful
of others feelings
- Communicating in a positive and contructive
manner
- Taking responsibility for those times
when you are feeling "crabby" or overwhelmed and communicating your
feelings appropriately
- Taking the brave step of being honest
with those you care about - even with very difficult subjects
- Expand your horizons. Get involved
in and contribute to your community.
